Tesla Powerwall 3 and Remote Energy Meter Kit
Tesla Powerwall 3 can deliver 11kW discharge & 5kW charge with 13.5kWh of fully useable energy.
Powerwall 3 can be installed in a non-backup configuration,
providing a lower-cost and simpler installation option for homes with reliable
grid supply. By replacing the Backup Gateway with the Tesla Remote Meter,
homeowners benefit from faster installation, reduced upfront costs, and the
flexibility to upgrade to whole-home backup in the future.
When the grid is available, Powerwall 3 stores solar or grid energy to power the home day and night, while also allowing stored energy to be exported during peak pricing periods to maximise savings. Energy usage can be monitored and customised through the Tesla app.
Please note: this configuration does not provide backup power during grid outages.
