How to Make the Most of Quotes
Building quotes is quick and straightforward. When you click Add to Quote on any product, a window will appear where you can select the quantity you need and choose which quote to add it to.
We know you're often juggling multiple jobs at once, so we've designed quotes to work the way you do. When adding an item, you can drop it into an existing quote or start a new one. You can even add the same quantity of a product to several quotes at the same time, which is handy when you're pricing similar jobs in parallel.
Starting a new quote
If you're creating a new quote, you'll be prompted to add a quote name and a short description to help identify it later. You can also add the site address at this stage, which helps display accurate stock availability and delivery information. Don't worry if you don't have all the details yet — you can add or update this information at any time.
Once you've added an item, you'll see a confirmation message letting you know it's been added successfully.
How to Manage Quotes
All quotes live in your Quote Library. You can get there in two ways: click Quotes in the navigation bar at the top of the page or open the account menu in the top right corner.
Once you're in the quote library, you can filter by status and sort by price, last updated, created date, or alphabetically. There's also a search bar at the top if you're looking for something specific.
Viewing and editing a quote
Click on any quote to open it up and see the full details. From here you can:
- Edit the site and delivery details
- Add or remove items from the quote
- Convert your quote into an order
A note on pricing
Price locking is in place on all your quotes, and the lock date will be shown clearly on the quote itself, so you always know where you stand.
